Construction Update Aug '23

We have exciting new developments in the Driftwood domain this coming winter. Some of you will have seen what is going on on your annual Driftwood pilgrimage, however this will come as a very pleasant surprise to most.

As of 2024 we will have all new guest accommodation, massively upgrading the experience for all. Our capacity for hosting guests will remain the same, what we are doing is improving the facilities and space for you all. All buildings will have air conditioning, private bathrooms & showers, their own board storage, a spacious deck with sun shade and space to relax. This new arrangement is spreading out the footprint of our resort and creating much more space for everyone to enjoy.

This will manifest itself in a few different buildings; firstly two glass fronted private bungalows are being built next to our brand new deck area. Space for two guests each, built with comfort in mind, they provide loads of natural light, bohemian luxury and a unique air cooled jungle sanctuary.

Our two story Family Villa is one of a kind, with nothing like this ever built in the area. It boasts two Oceanview balconies, room for four king sized beds, a comfortable deck and living area and contains its own private bathroom. Complete with A/C and fresh ocean breeze to keep the living comfortable.

We will be making some changes to the way trips are booked & run for 2024 also. We will be including your Padang -> Mentawai transfers in your bookings, and making some changes to the transport packages to make the journey out here as smooth as possible.
